The Northern Highways Depot project involved the construction of a new facility for the Highways Agency in Sandy, Bedfordshire. Installation of drainage systems, including storm water drainage, foul drainage, attenuation tanks, petrol interceptors, and flood balancing tanks to manage stormwater runoff effectively.

Construction of 6,000m² of reinforced concrete slabs for HGV access, loading, and unloading.
Construction of 7,000m² of SUDS-designed permeable car parking area. This innovative design incorporated permeable paving materials and a sub-base designed to allow rainwater to infiltrate into the ground, minimising runoff and reducing the risk of flooding to the surrounding high-level floodplain.
